Early Spring White Azalea

Early Spring White Azalea, Original Art
Early Spring White Azalea
This is an oil painting on stretched linen canvas. It is a sign of early spring depicting a white azalea taken from my photo of one of the ubiquitous flowering bushes in Charleston, SC. It is a styalistic approach to the subject.

Original Art (Oil on linen)   10.75 x 10.75 x 1.25   $195.00 Sold

Carolyn K. Aberbach is a graduate of Rosemont College near Philadelphia with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Studio Art. Additionally, she studied in the Interior Design program at Kean College of New Jersey. Over the years she has attended classes at the Torpedo Factory Art Center in Alexandria, Virginia and the Art League of Ocean City, in Ocean City, Maryland. She took part in the Ocean City Art League Plein Air Events of August 2017 through August 2021. She is a member of the Charleston Artist Guild and The Art League of Ocean City, in Maryland.
She works in a loose, impressionistic style blending harmonious color combinations with simplicity of design. While home is the Delaware shore where the bays and ocean offer numerous locales for subjects she also spends part of the year in Charleston, SC. This has brought new inspiration. It is easy to be captivated by the light and color of Charleston and the surrounding low country.
